Join award-winning brewer and sensory expert, Alek Egi, to level up your recipe skills in this online course designed for folks with some homebrew or brewing experience and/or a basic understanding of brewing.

• Understanding product specifications and calculating batch volume
• Selecting grains and malts, determining grain weight, and performing mash calculations
• Calculating total water requirements, including mash and sparge volumes, and making necessary calcium (CA) additions
• Determining strike water temperature, selecting hops, and predicting IBU (International Bitterness Units)
• Yeast management: propagation, packaged yeast, yeast slurry handling, and related calculations
• Calculating alcohol content, CO2 levels, and color; mastering natural and forced carbonation, priming wort carbonation, and refining your final recipe
